Stacy, my step sister was getting married and wanted to have a bridal party here in Vegas, so we went to dinner and then to the Phantom of the Opera. It was so much fun to have her, Angie and Heather all together hanging out!

We went to a really good Mexican resturant in old town San Diego and they had some hot men singing to the customers. We were lucky enough to get them to sing to us La Bomba

Chelsea (Brandon's youngest sister) wanted to go to San Diego for a gratuation gift. So all of the women in the Irvin Fam went during June.
We stayed at a fun beach house about 10 yards from the beach. The weather was beautiful. We rented bikes and almost went all the way up to La Jolla on the bike path. It was so nice to get away from reality! A special thanks to my husband for letting me have a good time with out them :)

I had Dallyn enrolled at Silver Mesa Rec Center. He loved it. He gave his Teachers a run for there money. But they were sad to see him go. He is a good boy, with his own agenda. But he did get through the rest of the year with out a fight (that is after he already had a few.) Did that make any sense? Oh well I think you get it.

It's amazing how you ask for something in a prayer and you want it so bad and it feels like it will never happen and then..... It does, and your stocked and scared to death because your not as ready as you thought. The cool things is there is complete peace. Peace I never thought I would feel in a situation like this. I just wanted to share my gratefulness of all that we have been blessed with. God really does answer our prayers, thankfully on his time and not ours. For some reason I thought He stopped caring about the big things in my life. I don't know when it happened. Maybe when my mom died or just going through the motions. But, I am learning again that He really does care. That prayers really are answered BUT not in our time. I know we always hear that. I think I get so caught up in the, I want it now mind set, that I forget one of the most important virtues, patience! Oh that wonderful difficult patience. I will have it one day. That is my all time goal! For those of you that are blessed with that gift, you are so lucky! Anyway, just thought I'd put this out there. Just to let you all know, I know God does care and is just waiting for the right timing!

Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. So let's trust in Him!! :)

Yes, I do believe ALL children cut there own hair, including boys. I doubt anything will come of it, but thank heavens there boys and you can't really tell.

Dallyn found some kid scissors and did this beautiful number. A couple of days latter Broc somehow find some and did the same thing! He must have been watching Dallyn and thought that it looked like fun. Oh my sweet children :)

White Chocolate ORANGE Cookies! YUMMY

So the other day I was on Allrecipes.com, as usual. Looking for a different kind of cookie recipe, once again, as usual, and found this one. I have to admit I wasn't to sure this was going to do it for me. But I read the comments and everyone seemed to love it. So here I am telling you all how wonderful these cookies are! So please enjoy, from allrecipes to my home to yours!

INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon orange zest
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups white chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and orange zest. Stir the flour, baking soda, and salt together; mix into the creamed mixture. Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Another near death moment

So my wonderful neighbor's awake to look over at our house to find two little boys out the window on the roof! See the window? The one on the 2nd floor, yes that is where Dallyn and Broc were doing there "climbing"

If you look at the window you can see Dallyn peeking out.

So this morning (sunday 8/31/08) we were woken to a disturbing phone call... are neighbor called to tell us Dallyn and Broc were out the window on the roof!!!!!!! I was asleep when this happened. Brandon was the one who just happened to be walking down stairs and heard the message. When I ask Dallyn why on earth he went out the window he said, "I just wanted to climb." Holy Cow!! Lord please continue to watch over these boys of mine!

The reason I say another is because Broc recently was drowning at the recuration center in St. George. We blinked and all of the sudden he was gone! We looked for what seemed to be hours (maybe only a mintue or two) My Dad's wife Kelly got him from a little 7 year old girl that found him drowning!!!!

Gosh, it makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about these things! Feel free to pray for the safety of my boys, as you can see they need it!!

1. What is your/his name? Sarah & Brandon
2. Who eats more? He does.
3. Who said I love you first? Brandon, I think, maybe it was me?? Who knows, oh well, we love each other and that's all that matters!
4. Who is taller? He is. 6'2 I am 5'7 and 1/2" I always thought I was 5'8 until a modeling agency told me I wasn't. They like 5'8 and up people. Dang it I was that close :)
5. Who is smarter? Brandon, Definitely. But I'm cuter and that's better :)
6. Who is more sensitive? We both are equal on that in different ways.
7. Who does the laundry? Me, always. But I never use liquid bleach I have ruined so many of our clothes, I have know idea why, I can never figure out how it happens so I have to buy a special kind, it's thinker. Ever since I bought that kind I'm back it the bleach business! Thank goodness!
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? That would be me.
9. Who pays the bills? Me again.
10. Who cooks more? Probably equal. Brandon is an excellent cook, he can make a great meal out of stuff I would through away or never thought would be good. When he's done, he'll say "here, try it", and I'll say "No thanks", but then I do, and I'll love it. Crazy.
11. What meals do you cook together? anything that entails grilling. He is awesome on the grill! "Hey Brandon, make me some corn on the grill please!" So good! That one's my fav.
12. Who is more stubborn? So me, I need to work on that one.
13. Who is first to admit when they are wrong? Me. I'm sure he's waiting right now.
14. Who has more siblings? Same. 6 He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters and I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Oh wait, I do, I have 1 half sister and recently 2 stepbrothers and 1 stepsister. Wow. My dad gets around! (that's supposed to be funny).
15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I would like to think I do... but he seems to show up in them just when I think I am wearing them.
16. What do you like to do together? Play games, Play outside. Dates. Dream.
17. Who eats more sweets? It's equal. Brandon doesn't have to have them, but if they're there he'll eat them right up. Me on the other hand, is pretty much addicted to them. COOKIES you say, where?
18. Guilty pleasures? We'll just leave that one alone :)
19. How did you meet? Good old Fabulous Freddy's in St. George, UT. I was going to go on a mission, but I couldn't pass him up, he's my perfect match!
20. Who asked who out first? Well, we just started hanging out the rest is sweet history! I guess it was him.
21. Who kissed who first? Brandon did it. I said "You shouldn't have done that" only because I was going to go on my mission. Yah that didn't go as planned. All for good reasons.
22. Who proposed? He did. It was on the 4th of July, good times. I knew it was coming... just the way I like things! :)
23. What is your/his best feature? ummm.........Those green eyes and his muscles. My belly when it is in shape and smile.
